Translator qualification
Which translator qualification do I need?

Regular qualified: A professional with the experience, education, and skills for certified translations. While not government-accredited, their work is widely accepted. We advise verifying acceptance with the requesting agency. About 80% of our certified translations for use abroad are completed by regular qualified translators.

Sworn/official: A translator accredited by a government agency (e.g., Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Court of Appeal). Required by certain foreign government entities. Rates are considerably higher and turnaround times longer due to a smaller pool of available experts.

Meeting Austrian Consulate Requirements

We ensure every translation adheres to the official standards required by the Austrian government for legal validity and full acceptance.

Certified Court Translator

Translations for official use must be completed by a court-sworn translator ("Gerichtsdolmetscher") who is certified by an Austrian court.

Official German Translation

All documents not originally in German must be translated into German to be accepted by Austrian authorities for official procedures.

Apostille Legalization

As a member of the Hague Convention, Austria requires that U.S. documents first be legalized with an Apostille from the Secretary of State.

All Document Types

We handle certified translations for birth and marriage certificates, academic diplomas, legal contracts, and any other document for your application.
