All our rates are negotiable. Our rates start from $19.95 per page. A page is standard size, 8.5 x 11 inches.
For a page to be eligible for the promotional $19.95, it must be no more than 150-200 words and not contain any heavy formatting (complicated tables etc). However, if your order is more than 8 pages, then we might still consider giving you the promotional rate ($19.95) provided the word count does not exceed 250-300 words per page, is not one of the languages with higher rates, academic or medical and not urgent. Our regular rate is $23.95 per page that is no more than 300 words. If it is more than 300 words, then, the rate goes up accordingly. For orders with large word counts, we assign rates per word which vary from as low as $0.06 to as high as $0.16 per word. The rate per word depends upon such factors as the target and source languages (languages translated from and into), text complexity, formatting, urgency, overall word count, status of our workload and other factors. Translations from English into other languages may start from $25.95 per page. To find out how much your project or order will cost, simply press on the button (Get a quote) above.

What are your hours of operation?
We work around the clock from Monday to Saturday except for Sunday. However, our translators still work on Sundays as well. If your translation's due day falls on a Sunday, please expect to receive it on Monday (the next day). The wait time to receive a quote (translation cost estimate) on Mondays to Fridays from 10 am to 6 pm EST averages at 9 minutes. The wait time for a quote after 6 pm to 11 pm EST is about 20 minutes to 2 hours. If you happen to have requested a quote after 11:30 pm EST (New York time), please expect to receive the quote at or after 10 am (the next day). We almost never miss quote requests. However, if we happen to have missed yours, please give us a call or email at +1 (973) 358-7570 or [email protected]. While we respond to emails around the clock from Monday to Saturday, we only accept phone calls on Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm.
Are your translations certified? Difference between certified translation and translator!
Yes, all our translations are placed on our company letterhead and accompanied with our certification of translation accuracy, official stamp and ATA-member ID. Please note that certified translations are different from certified translators. Our certified translations are performed by our highly qualified translators who may not necessarily be certified. If you are asked to provide a certified translation (ex. USCIS, Department of State, WES, Embassies and others), then our certified translation by our qualified translators will meet the requirement. However, if you are specifically asked for a certified TRANSLATOR (not certified TRANSLATION) as is the case with the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicle, then you should find out what certification the translator must have (the South Carolina DMV requires ATA certification or accreditation). Depending upon the type of translator's certification, the rate may vary. For example, the most popular form of translator's certification in the USA is one from the American Translators Association of which we are a member. Agencies can not be certified but individual translators can. We have an excellent team of ATA-certified translators who will be happy to take on your order or project. However, keep in mind that the rates for these ATA-certified (a.k.a ATA-accredited) translators are almost double our regular rates starting at $40 per page. For more information on ATA-certified translators, please visit this page. Surprisingly, however, the very same government or private organizations that request ATA-certified translations may sometimes accept ATA-member translations. Therefore, our certified translations done by our qualified translators (non-certified) and placed on our official agency letterhead with our ATA-member ID and stamp are often accepted. We advise consulting the authorities you are to submit the translation to before placing your order with us.
Are your translations widely accepted? Are they accepted by the USCIS?
Yes, our certified translations are accepted by the USCIS, US courts, colleges, evaluation services, banks and other government, academic and private institutions on a regular basis.
Do you provide notarized translations?
Yes, when you place an order, you will have an option to have your translation notarized. A small fee is applied.
How do you ensure quality?
We carefully select the translators we work with. We look at their history, education, and experience. All our translators are qualified and certified.
How do you present your translations?
All translations are emailed. All notarized translations are also mailed by USPS or FedEx for international shipping. Document translations are presented in PDF only. Business translations are delivered in Word and PDF. The PDF version contains our official certification of translation accuracy. We can also properly insert the translation right into your MS PowerPoint file. Whenever possible, we can try to preserve the format of your business documents by exporting them into MS Word using Adobe.
What are some of your quality assurance practices?
Our translators are always instructed to revise their work prior to its submission. So there is always at least one act of proofreading from the translator(s). By default, we do not include independent proofreading in our quotes. However, should you request for your translation to be proofread by an independent translator. We can arrange that too.
How can we be confident in the competence of your translators?
We spend days and nights selecting, screening and interviewing translators. We do not just rely on their qualifications to assign projects but we take our time to get to know their real strengths and weaknesses. When you have a very important business project, you can not just give it away to the first translator that comes along with great credentials. We only use the translators that have stood the test of time. We start them with small and build them up to important.
How do you present the final translation of legal material?
The final translation can be delivered in Word (non-certified) and PDF (certified). The PDF version contains our official certification of translation accuracy. We can also properly insert the translation right into your MS PowerPoint file. If you need graphic design work to be done, we can arrange that too.
What is your cancellation policy?
We are a fast paced translation service. Therefore, new orders are processed quickly. You can cancel your order within one hour of payment. If your request to cancel your order is submitted after one hour of payment, your request for cancellation may be denied.
What is your refund policy?
Non-conformity - If the translation is not accepted because it does not meet a certain requirement of which D&T Translations was not notified, a refund will not be possible. If the translation is not accepted because it does not meet the requirement(s) of which D&T Translations was notified fully and in detail prior to the payment of an invoice, the customer must present official written proof clearly stating that the translation was not accepted and the reason why the translation did not meet the requirement(s). For example, in case of the USCIS rejecting our translation, the customer must provide the official RFE letter. We will make any necessary adjustments to make the translation acceptable. If we cannot make the translation acceptable, a full refund will be provided.
Errors and omissions - Refunds based on errors and/or omissions are not possible within reasonable limits.
Delays - Refunds based on untimely completion are only possible if we exceed the estimated completion time without notifying you of a delay or extension by 24 hours for small projects (1-5 pages), 48 hours for medium size projects (5-15 pages) and 72 hours for big projects (20-50 pages).

How we tackle fraud
Due to the increasing number of credit card scams and other fraud, we have been forced to implement certain measures to protect our company. We might start by verifying a customer's identity by matching their physical address to their IP address, asking for a copy of their ID and giving them a phone call. Suspicious form submissions are ignored. Should we be subjected to fraud, however, we will immediately notify law enforcement agencies including FBI, Local Police, Homeland Security, USCIS etc. We will provide them with the IP address, documents and other information provided.
